Our fridge, freezer & shelves are loaded & ready for tomorrow's store 9.30-11.

Don't forget it's bank holiday weekend which means we won't be open on Monday so make sure to come along & stock up.

Jade and 8 children had a Ghyll Scramble adventure today up in Hexham, they gorge walked as well as jumping into pools, climbing waterfalls and navigating the crack of doom.

All the kids did absolutely amazing and as you can see they had a brilliant time.

We even had time on the way there for a play in the park and some football, as well as a picnic on the way home.

Thank you so much to John and Joe from Springboard and Hetton Lyons Country Park for running such an amazing session and taking such good care of us, and grateful thanks to Coalfield Sunderland Community for funding to make it possible.

Due to an event taking place in the Space4 Hub in the afternoon, our drop in on Monday will be closing at 12 - still plenty of time to come in and join us for a cuppa and grab some lunch either to eat in or take away.

Looking for something fun to keep the kids active before the new school term starts? Come along and join us for an afternoon of outdoor sports and games with Active Sunderland! 🌳☀️

📅 Tuesday 25th August
🕜 1:30pm – 3:00pm
📍 Rectory Park, Houghton (Lower part of the park, just before the Show Field)

🍎 FREE packed lunch provided for every child!

👧🧒 Suitable for children aged 4–11 years, with younger and older siblings welcome to come along too.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents/carers must stay with their children throughout the session.

⚠️ Spaces are limited, so booking is essential!
