Did you know that the Tempest is actually a musical?

This is the most tuneful of Shakespeare's plays. Our slightly abridged version features ten songs and lots of other music composed especially for this production by the talented Andrew Donovan. Here's a rare picture of him, hard at work in his artistic creation space.

Come and experience the magic for yourself next week in Barns Green near Horsham! Tickets from haods.co.uk/tickets

What does The Tempest have to do with Horsham's most famous son, Percy Bysshe Shelley?

Tragically, he drowned whilst sailing his boat "Ariel" off the coast of Italy when a tempest swept in. Lines from Ariel's song in the play are engraved on his gravestone in Rome. (Oh, and Tom, our Stephano, played Bysshe in Lights and Bushels' production of 'Mad Shelley' in 2019!)

Tickets for The Tempest (SPOILER: no one actually drowns) available now from haods.co.uk/tickets
