Are you ready for this week’s Friday Late with the Blunter Brothers who are bringing funk, Motown and soul to the town centre tonight? 🎶

Horsham District Council would like to remind visitors of a few ‘House Rules’, introduced to ensure everyone can enjoy their Friday night as much as possible.

The road closure will return this year through the Carfax every Friday from 5.30pm-8.30pm (until the end of August), the Carfax taxi ranks and bus stops will be temporarily relocated.

- Buses will depart from the main bus station 🚌
- Taxis will pick up passengers from the train station, with an additional temporary taxi rank at the top of the Causeway (near Blackhorse Way) 🚕
- Trains will be running as normal 🚅

Please plan ahead and leave extra time for travel.

Please do not bring a chair unless you have access requirements (if you do have access requirements, the team will direct you to a safe place to use your chair). This will help manage the size of the audience, keep the Carfax as safe as possible and, most importantly, continue to run these events in a safe and enjoyable manner for all. There are public toilet facilities in Piries Place Car Park.

Horsham Markets stalls and nearby shops will be open late, serving up a great mix of food and drink throughout the evenings.

The Council social media platforms will always have the most up to date information on them, especially in the event of inclement weather or adverse conditions, please make sure you are following them!

The Friday Lates are again being filmed and photographed. This content will be used by online and alongside press releases and articles in local magazines and newspapers to highlight the success of the events and to promote future programmes. If you do not wish to be included in the photos, HDC advise avoiding the area immediately around the Carfax.

Something epic is coming to Horsham Town Centre… 🦸‍♂️

On Saturday 13 June, Gobsmack Comics is hosting their Summer Sci-Fi Spectacular, and it’s set to be a big one. 😍

Meet your favourite heroes from the worlds of comics, sci-fi, film and TV. Grab a selfie, come dressed up, join the fun and take part in the kids’ costume competition. There’ll also be special offers in store throughout the day. 🤩

Even better, they’ll be raising money for local children’s charity Springboard, so it’s a chance to have fun and support a great cause at the same time. 🎉

Friday Lates is bringing the funk, Motown and soul to the Carfax this week as The Blunter Brothers take to the Bandstand this Friday, 12 June, 6pm–8pm. 🎷

They're bringing big vocals, big brass and big energy with a soundtrack that will have you dancing all evening! Finish work, head into town, grab dinner, enjoy a drink and let the music do the rest. Who are you bringing with you? 👇

Something a little different is coming to the Carfax! 🌞

On Sunday 21st June, the Summer Solstice Holistic & Mystic Fair will be taking place right in the heart of Horsham, from 10am to 4pm.

Expect a mix of independent traders, wellbeing-focused businesses and a chance to explore something new in the town centre.

A big thank you to Natty Noo Designs for promoting the event and producing the beautiful graphic, and to The Crystal Cave Horsham who are also involved. 🔮

Just one week until Horsham’s popular Friday Lates live music and food entertainment nights return! 🎉

Organised by Horsham District Council and Food Rocks Markets, the events take place every Friday night from 6pm to 8pm throughout June, July and August at the Horsham Carfax Bandstand. 🎶
