🩵 INCOMING NEW ARRIVALS 🩵

We have some wonderful news to share!

After successfully bringing the Seven Sisters home from Romania, our rescue colleagues reached out to ask if we could help another Greyhound family from the same owner.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Simona, who works endlessly to support these dogs and educate their owners, we simply couldn't turn our backs on them.
So, we'd like to introduce Raina and her eight beautiful puppies.

They will be making their journey to the UK next week, and we can't wait to be there to welcome them with open arms.
Please join us in wishing them a safe and happy journey as they begin the next chapter of their lives 🩵

We are so happy to report, that after almost six years in racing kennels, gorgeous little Lana has left for the next chapter of her life in a fabulous home with Ellie and Adam.

Early reports are that she’s had a good first day, has had a beach walk, played with her new dinosaur toy 🦕 and helped unload the washing! ☺️

🩵🩵🩵 NEW ARRIVAL 🩵🩵🩵

Today we welcomed Roco into the SSR family.

He is meant to be a Lurcher, however I’ve no idea what breed cross he is 🤷‍♀️ What I do know is that we had serious concerns for his welfare, so when asked to help him, we didn't hesitate.

Roco is 3 years old and has been with the same family since he was a puppy. As you can imagine, he's feeling a little overwhelmed right now as he adjusts to such a big change.

Sadly, his owner became very unwell and was no longer able to give Roco the exercise he needed. While I can't share any further details, I can say that I was extremely concerned about his future wellbeing.

Despite everything, Roco enjoyed his first little walk after arriving and behaved beautifully on the lead. Given his recent circumstances, that's incredibly commendable.

We've been told that he's good with visiting children of all ages, friendly with other dogs, and has previously lived with two cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ Of course, we'll give him plenty of time to settle, decompress, and relax before carrying out our own assessments.

I may not know exactly what breed mix he is, but what I do know is that he's a beautiful boy who deserves every chance to thrive.

We were asked if we could help this gorgeous little pear drop after she found herself in the pound with no one coming forward to claim her.
Their loss is most definitely our gain, because first impressions suggest she is an absolutely adorable little girl.

She has only just arrived and is currently undergoing assessment, but we can't wait to get to know her better and share more updates soon 🩵
