✨ Su***de awareness workshops from April 16th ✨
The Jordan Legacy is partnering with The Principle Trust Children's Charity and Leeds Mind to deliver 4 workshops across the Yorkshire region, including Leeds, York, Hull and Wakefield, starting in Leeds on April 16th, 10am-12:30pm.
Aimed at HR Directors and people managers, this workshop will explore the impact of su***de within the workplace, its impact on employees and the business, and the wider ripple effect the trauma can have on the families of employees.
Poor mental health costs UK businesses more than £51 billion each year. Acute mental ill-health accounts for 55% of all working days lost annually. The impact of su***de, more widely, is estimated to cost the UK economy approximately £10 billion each year.
By attending this workshop you will increase your awareness about su***de and learn how to mitigate the risk of it happening either in your workplace or to one of your employees outside of work.
If you're not yet familiar with the British Standard Institutions BSI 30480 standard for su***de awareness in the workplace, launched in November 2025, Steve will be sharing about this during his section of the workshop.
