Gorkha Learning for Life

Gorkha Learning for Life Gorkha Learning is a small charity working in Gorkha Nepal. We run a child sponsorship scheme and fund Health and Hygiene Projects.

As well as our main school Shree Krishna Primary which we opened in 1999 and subsequently extended into the school we have today, we also support several other schools in Gorkha. We are currently raising money to provide every school in Gorkha with a water filter so the children can have clean filtered water every day at school.

Our Story

As well as our main school Shree Krishna Primary which we opened in 1999 and subsequently extended into the school we have today, we also support several other schools in Gorkha.

Our sponsorship scheme covers nearly two hundred children and the wages of two teachers.

After raising funds for the Earthquake for emergnecy aid medicine, tarpaulin, food and roofing. We susequently gave money to support rebuilding work.

We are currently raising money to provide every school in Gorkha with a water filter so the children can have access to clean filtered water every day at school.
