A big thank you to Sheila’s Cafe for hosting the poppy workshop on 27th June, and another big thank you to the lovely people of Horley for your support in this community project ❤️🌺. Remember that you can deposit any completed poppies at Horley Library, just by the help desk.

A big thank you to all those that have knitted and crocheted poppies and the accompanying black strips.
To date we have received 1074 poppies, just another 3414 to go! If you want to get involved, pop by Horley Library and pick up a pattern, they are by the door or you can get a copy at:

Horley Evening W.I. are inviting you to take part in a community project, to help knit or crochet poppies to decorate the railings at the memorial ground, in time for Remembrance Sunday. This is an ambitious project and we hope that as many people of all skill levels get involved. Patterns can be collected and completed poppies can deposited at Horley Libray.
