As Volunteers’ Week comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, past and present! 💚

🫶🏼 Over the past week we’ve celebrated the incredible impact you make - but the truth is, that impact is felt every single day of the year.

From caring for the greyhounds in our kennels, to walking, fostering, fundraising, home checks, supporting events and helping behind the scenes, we simply couldn’t do what we do, without you. 💚

We are so grateful to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate community across all of our branches. 💚

Could you foster a greyhound looking for a home this Volunteers’ Week? 🏡🐾

🫶🏼 Fostering gives a greyhound the chance to experience home comforts, build confidence, and get used to the sights, sounds and smells of life outside of the kennels while they wait for their forever family.

We’re always in need of foster carers across our branches, whether you already have a dog at home or not, and it’s a hugely rewarding way to support the greyhounds in our care. 💚

Here’s lovely Beau (aka Bobo), out in the field having the best time with his toy at the Greyhound Trust National Greyhound Centre in Horley! 💚

Beau is one of the youngest hounds at the centre and really shows just how playful greyhounds can be! 🐾 He’s a friendly, confident lad who loves people - anyone who meets him is usually a new best friend straight away!
