A lovely update on recently homed Orchid! 🌸

Orchid from Greyhound Trust Suffolk found her forever home recently, but it sounds like she’s already settling in wonderfully. 💚🐾

🗣️ Her family told us:

“She’s got a nice big bed in the kitchen but she’s found a spot in the lounge which has become her favourite… right at the bottom of the stairs (she couldn’t have found a more awkward place 😂) but she’s happy there!

“She’s loving exploring the different parks nearby and next weekend we’re taking her on a local sight hound walk so she can make some new friends.

“She is also loving running around the garden and has been loving playing ball with the children!”

It sounds like Orchid has wasted no time making herself at home! 🥰

Have you ever seen a Greyhound with such a beautiful smile? 😍🐾

Just look at Logan from our Perth branch! That face, that smile… we honestly can’t get enough of him. 💚

At 4 years old, Logan is a fun-loving, playful boy with plenty of energy and a whole lot of love to give. He enjoys his walks, a short run in the field and, of course, a good cuddle afterwards!

And that gorgeous smile could soon be lighting up your life, because Logan is looking for his loving forever home! 🏡

Logan would need a home without small pets and if you think you could be the person to give this very happy boy the life he deserves, Greyhound Trust Perth would love to hear from you.

In the meantime, we’ll just be over here admiring that smile… 😍💚

For many of us, the things we care about most are the people, places and causes that have been part of our lives. 💚

A gift in your Will to Greyhound Trust can help us continue caring for retired racing greyhounds and give them the bright futures they deserve.

It’s a way of making a difference not just to the greyhounds in our care today, but to the generations of greyhounds who will need our help in the years to come.

And making a Will doesn’t have to be complicated.

Through our partnership with Farewill, we offer a free Will writing service, available to everyone. ✍🏼

You can write your Will online from the comfort of your own home, or arrange a telephone appointment with a Farewill specialist.

A little planning today could help keep greyhounds smiling for generations to come. 💚🐾

Today is National Black Dog Day! 💚🖤

Did you know that, on average, black dogs spend longer in shelters waiting for their forever homes than dogs of other colours? 🥺

Sadly, black dogs are often overlooked when people are searching for their new family member. 🐾 But their colour doesn’t change who they are!

They have just as much love to give, just as many happy moments to share, and are just as happy stealing space on the sofa! 🥰

So, if you’re thinking about homing a dog, please consider a black dog next time you’re looking. You might just find your perfect match waiting for you. 💚

Find your local Greyhound Trust branch and see the black dogs waiting patiently for their forever homes:
