Here's an idea for Father's Day on Sunday. Why not bring Dad along to the Museum for a really interesting day out?

All Dads get to ride our Typhoon Motion Simulator for the price of a child - so they really can be big kids!

We're also hosting Crawley Amateur Radio Club who will be taking part in a special event called 'International Museums on the Air'. Radio clubs from around the world take part with the purpose of encouraging the spirit of Amateur Radio by communicating with others around the world, and also to attract visitors to the many different wonderful museums that are to be found both in this country and overseas. Members of the club will be operating radios, demonstrating equipment, and be on hand to talk to visitors throughout the day.

And of course, there's our wonderful collection of aircraft. engines, memorabilia and the chance to book a 45 minute tour on board our Avro Shackleton.

Absolute pleasure to host the Military Aviation Heritage Network meeting and welcome so many members from other museums. Always a great opportunity to share ideas and work together for the amazing preservation of aviation heritage that we're all so passionate about.

**We'll be making a really exciting announcement on MONDAY 1 JUNE** Our new exhibit will be making its way to the Museum so you may even spot it on the road! It's going to be a really important addition to our collection and is sure to interest a lot of people who may be wondering what had happened to it.....keep watching out for more news!

Another fantastic engine run event today! A huge thank you to the 600 people who came along on such a hot day to see our Lightning and Shackleton running, and to all of our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this a special day.

What a great presentation we were treated to last night. Our friends from the RAF were kind enough to join us to give a fascinating talk on air safety and investigation. We hope to be doing another again soon. If you haven't been to one of our evening talks, keep an eye on our website for upcoming events.
