Honley has a keen community spirit with over seventy local societies and clubs to suit all ages including a civic society, a camera club, two choirs, a cricket club and many more. Families are well catered for with three playgrounds, a skate park and recreation ground, toddler groups, Scouts, Rainbows, music and dance classes, a play gym...not to mention the many trees to climb at Honley Woods! A diverse range of shops and boutiques, cafes, pubs, restaurants and businesses co-exist with quaint cobbled streets, wonderful countryside and river walks.
