As many of you may know, Nikki, our fabulous café manager has now left for pastures new. We owe Nikki a huge debt of thanks for everything that she has done and wish her every success in the future.

This does mean we will be temporarily closed for a short time whilst we recruit for the position.
We look forward to welcoming you again very soon.

With Nikki leaving this does create an exciting opportunity to take on the role of café manager, either as an individual or a shared position. If interested, or if you know someone who might be, please contact us for more information, a full job description, and salary details.

The café has been a great success, and we’re also seeking volunteers to join our team, helping with front-of-house, kitchen support, grill chef duties, or end-of-day cleaning. These roles are rewarding and offer a chance to be part of the Signal Box café family.

Additionally, we’re looking for volunteers to join the Community Interest Company (CIC) committee in roles such as Treasurer, Company Secretary, Fundraiser, or Community Engagement. If you’re passionate about supporting your local community and shaping the future of our historic station, we’d love to hear from you!

To get involved, please reach out to us via email at [email protected] or text Chris at 07887 611655.

Best regards,
Andy Cooper, Chris Childs and Kathy Cox
