Did you know that Universal Credit isn't set based on how much essentials cost?

No independent evidence. Just a political decision. And nobody is regularly checking it against the cost of essentials, like food, bills, and toiletries.

It's leaving millions of people without enough money to live on and forced to turn to food banks just to get by.

✋ It's time this changed.

We're calling on the UK Government to set an independent process for Universal Credit, one that looks at real costs and makes sure the support people receive matches up.

The CRF Oil Fund is a support fund established by Lincolnshire County Council to help low income and vulnerable households manage the rising cost of domestic heating oil.

Many homes in South Holland rely on oil for heating, which is not covered by energy price protections and often requires large upfront payments. This fund provides targeted assistance to help ensure the most vulnerable residents can continue to heat their homes and access hot water.
