Hitchin Youth Trust A charity encouraging activities for young people in the area up to the age of 26. Funding is available and our rooms are available for use rent free.

Hitchin Youth Trust is a registered charitable organisation whose aim is to encourage activities for young people within a designated area of Hitchin. The articles of the Trust require that it be administered by up to 20 Trustees. The Trustees form various committees to look after the buildings, investments, publicity and distribution of grants. The Trustees manage the Trust's investments to provi

de an income in order to support the maintenance of the building and financially support both youth groups and individuals within the catchment area. The aim is to attract Trustees with the appropriate skills to effectively and professionally carry the benefits forward, indefinitely. The Trust provides rent-free rooms for use to clubs and organisations. A large number of local organisations, some with over 150 members apply and are approved for a grant each year. Hundreds of individuals are also supported by the Trust to pursue educational, recreational, sporting, cultural and artistic ambitions. There are a small number of University bursaries available each year. Start-up grants for young people's clubs and organisations within the catchment area can also be given.

Hitchin Youth Trust are joining together with the Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse to support the Youth Showcase in Hitchin this Saturday (27th September 2025) 10am - 3pm.
