Helping young children get active is an important part of their development and it can be simple, playful and lots of fun! ❤️

At our PEEP Learning Through Play sessions, we use everyday activities like singing, dancing, moving and playing to encourage children to be active, build confidence and enjoy learning through play.

Healthy teeth are so important to your little ones over-all health🦷
Here are some top tips on looking after your little ones teeth:

🌟Start brushing your baby's teeth as soon as the first milk tooth breaks through (usually at around 6 months, but it can be earlier or later).
🌟Parents or carers should brush or supervise tooth brushing.
🌟Brush teeth twice daily for about 2 minutes with fluoride toothpaste.
🌟Brush last thing at night before bed and on 1 other occasion.
🌟Use only a smear of toothpaste.

📢 Oughton Family Centre – Half-Term Closure Notice 🍂

Please note that Oughton Family Centre will be closed from Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October due to essential building work.

As the centre will be closed for the whole week, all sessions and services will be unavailable, including access for vitamins.

The following sessions will therefore not be running:
❌ Monday 26th October PM: Self Weigh
❌ Wednesday 28th October AM: Wellbaby Clinic
❌ Wednesday 28th October AM: Baby Group
❌ Thursday 29th October AM: Infant Feeding Social Group
❌ Friday 30th October AM: Active Rhyme Time

Our Family Centres offer FREE Healthy Start Vitamins to:

Pregnant women
Breastfeeding mothers
Babies from birth (excluding those who consume over 500mls of formula per day)
Children between the ages of one and four years.

You can obtain the vitamin tablets or drops from your nearby Family Centre Hub or child health/well baby clinic.

Prior to visiting, we recommend calling 0300 123 7572 to confirm availability.
