We are a Letchworth based samba percussion group bringing Brazil’s dynamic musical rhythms to live performances, community events, workshops, dance and audience participation. If you are interested in finding out just what drumming and dancing with a Brazilian samba band is all about, or would like to develop your rhythmic skills and musicality, and meet new and like-minded people then email for m

Our dance tutor and choreographer is leading proponent of Brazilian dance, Marcia Magliari. We are an all age, all ability, committee-run community group, offering further opportunities for members to volunteer their skills and take on different roles of responsibility within the group.

We had the most incredible time performing at Bristol Encontro last weekend - an event bringing together 28 samba bands from across the UK!

Not only did we get to play, but we also soaked up so many amazing performances from other groups. Our samba hearts are full. What a beautiful, vibrant community.

It is exactly 2 weeks till we perform at the Bristol Encontro at the Trinity Centre.
This week we tried our new costumes at rehearsal for the first time. Our sewing team have done a brilliant job!

We had a great Samba Weekender refining our repertoire and learning new pieces. We also got a chance to connect, eat great food from Jaflong and witness some karaoke skills in action!
