Hinton St George Village Hall

Hinton St George Village Hall St George's Hall is a multi function venue in one of Somerset’s most beautiful villages.

The hall is available for hire throughout the week it has a fully fitted kitchen, projector and 6x3m screen. We have a football pitch in the winter and cricket pitch in the summer both are available for hire.

Unfortunately, we are having to cancel our Xmas Party at the end of November.

The band have pulled out and trying to find another one at this last stage has not been successful.

Anyone who purchased a ticket please bring it back to the shop and you will be refunded.

Info re Punkie Night below:

Important Announcement For Punkie Night 2025

Please note there will be some changes to Punkie Night for this year.

In consultation with the Police and Somerset Council it has been decided that our procession will have to take place on the Village hall playing field.

Going forward to 2026 and beyond we will be seeking a road closure to enable Punkie Night to revert to its traditional format.

We really hope that everyone in the village and local area will continue to support this ancient Hinton St George tradition.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 30th October at 6pm at St George's Hall.❤
