Good evening! Apologies for the recent silence — one half of Arm-PIT has been out of action. We’ll leave it to you to decide whether it’s the “arm” or the “pit” 😉

Last weekend, Emma teamed up with members of the Look Beyond team (Natalie, Clare, Laura and Jamie) and Oxfordshire Paranormal Investigations (Mark) to investigate the beautiful 1620s house in Donington le Heath 🏡

At only a 30-minute drive from base, it made a nice change to get to bed at a relatively sensible hour for once! 🛌

We’ve investigated this beautiful manor house with Haunted Heritage several times over the years. During one particularly memorable visit, Niel and Helen witnessed a full-body apparition on the grounds — a female figure in a flowing period dress walking silently along the path.

This time, with one man down, I travelled light with minimal kit (much to the disappointment of my teammates 🫣), and the night itself was relatively quiet.

The standout moment for all of us came when we heard a woman’s voice through my phone, which had been placed on the upper floor of the building while we were downstairs in the kitchen listening to the live call on another device ☎️

Next weekend, we’re back to full strength and heading north to Barnsley to investigate The Old Bank House 🏦⛏️ A new venue on the paranormal scene, steeped in hidden history and untold stories waiting to be uncovered. We’re very much looking forward to it….

The kit will be fully charged and ready to go, along with our newest acquisition — The Hartley Method 🔴🟢

The end of an era. We went into town this morning for one last visit to HAPRC. It was nice to be able to thank Neil Packer for all he has done, and wish him all the best for the next chapter. We also had the opportunity to purchase three items to remember the place by.

🤡 The Musical Clown. We’ve experienced activity around this clown on multiple visits over the years—it suddenly sprang to life mid-vigil, playing music and dancing. It also fell off the cabinet during a rather curious sequence of REM pod activity.

🐈 Bianca the Cat. Being cat people, Niel was drawn to her from our first visit, so we’re more than happy to give her a new home.

✝️ Crucifix. Out of all the objects in the foreboding attic room, we felt this small crucifix had watched over, and perhaps offered a level of protection to the many visitors who experienced the darker energies within that space.

The Centre is open today until 4pm, and again tomorrow (10-4pm) for anyone wanting to choose something to remember the place by.
