We are finalists at the Utility Week Awards 2026!
The judging has taken place and we’re excited to announce we are shortlisted for six awards this year:
⭐ Customer Support – Mobile Advice Centre (MAC)
Our MAC vehicles bring support to the communities with limited access to support, providing advice and support on fuel poverty, gas safety, carbon monoxide, debt and energy efficiency advice.
⭐ Social Value – Warm Homes Network
This new project created in partnership with Citizens Advice Manchester, Turn2us, YES Energy Solutions and Northern Gas Networks, is transforming how households experiencing fuel poverty access support through a simple referral online or by phone.
⭐ Skills and training – Immersive safety experience
Our Safe+Well immersive, actor-led learning event puts colleagues at the centre of a realistic process safety training scenario to build confidence, accountability and shared ownership of safety training.
⭐ Customer experience – Lettering app with Cogna
When upgrading ageing gas pipe infrastructure with modern alternatives, this new app allows us to identify every impacted property, and keep residents informed when timelines change.
⭐ Innovation (BAU) – Digital Platform for Leakage Analytics
Our revolutionary technology that creates a live, asset-level view of emissions across the network, enabling teams to focus effort where it will have the greatest impact.
⭐ Infrastructure delivery – Collaborative streetworks with United Utilities and Network Plus
By sharing forward plans of works and using dual-skilled teams to replace over 400m of water and gas pipes at the same time, this project was among the first in the UK to adopt fully integrated infrastructure delivery – saving 44 days of disruption.
