These really help, as most of our funds do not even cover the entire food order for the birds! Our food bill is rising to keep our corvids properly fed, they cost a fortune and it's a long commitment months of care before release! Not to mention supporting the residents here whose tastes are expensive!

Rooklings are finding it tough in the heat, we have a rookery next to the rescue and this little one shouldn't be out the nest, safe now with us poor little mite.
If you live near or go past rookeries consider checking the floor for young that have fallen and call a local rescue for advise/ assistance rooks do not tend to their babies on the ground

We've been really busy when we had a week off work.
Having finally started a project we've wanted to for a couple of years and being lucky enough to be allowed to take down this building and hopefully be able to eventually build a large aviary, we'd like to share these pictures. (Roof timbers will be re-used in aviaries)
It's a hard job mostly done by hand due to location and ground conditions. This work is ongoing and likely to take quite some time due to rescue and work commitments.

*This building is 30ft long!*

ways you can help 🙏

* Does anyone need hardcore we've got a lot (Tonnes and Tonnes) and do not have the means to remove ourselves, our wonderful farmer Roy helped to dig a lot up into piles but it'll cost £280 a lorry load to remove 😲

*We've got a lot (thousands of imperial wire cut bricks which would be able to be reused some are on marketplace as we need to raise money from the sales

*we've got around 1000 Staffordshire blue roof tiles they are in good condition and available for sale to raise funds

*The covered shelter we would like to buy for the aviary project is £1800 we are praying for donations towards this building otherwise it will not be possible as our bank funds are too low 🙏

All we ask is for postage to be paid (£2 a calendar) if you'd like to give them a home, otherwise we will recycle them, it'd be a shame for them to go to waste x
