Even more Little Cup of Joy dates for your diaries...

Starting on Wednesday 9th September, you will find the Little Cup of Joy project in Rutland.

In the mornings we will be at Caldecott Village Hall, Church Lane, LE16 8RW between 10:30am and 12 noon.

In the afternoons you can find us at Wing Village Hall, Morcott Road, LE15 8SA between 1pm - 2:30pm.

So if you know anyone that would benefit from meeting new people over a free hot drink, please let them know!

Perhaps you are a carer, looking for a reason to get out and about or maybe you have an isolated friend or neighbour, our hot drinks are created by a trained barista so you'll be sure of a little cup of joy each week!

* 1pm - 2:30pm Old Dalby Village Hall, 4 Main Road, LE14 3LR

BUILD Project end:

In the last few days of the BUILD project, the team have reflected on all that the participants have achieved.

Whether it has been finding a new voluntary or paid role, getting upskilled for a new career, exploring being an entrepreneur or simply making some forward steps to feeling well enough to build up to any of the above. It has been a pleasure to work across the communities that have taken part in BUILD.

Some participants also explored their creative side as a way of building confidence, considering a portfolio career or helping to boost their wellbeing.

The skills honed could also result in new community initiatives in the future.

So if you have been struggling with what comes next in your life, take some time for you today. Pop on some music that makes you feel good, make yourself a nice cuppa and remind yourself that you have hidden talents you may not have found yet!

Little Cup of Joy MAC specials!

Join us today (Tuesday 18th August) in two locations: Castle Donington Co-Op this morning then Kegworth Library this afternoon.

As well as free hot drinks the teams will be on hand to chat about what’s happening in your community and offer advice around gas safety in your home. Could you be eligible for the priority services register? Pop across to find out more 🙌🏼
