This week at Gateway, we had the fantastic Lost Wallets entertaining us at the Higham Works.

Everyone was up dancing from the get go, and people didn't stop dancing, well...until the Pizza arrived (obviously) - then it was back to dance floor 😆

The highlight of the evening was when everyone showed us their moves to the 'Gateway Anthem'. So, no pictures this week, just The Lost Wallets playing '500 miles' and the Gateway crew having a great time.

Many thanks to the Asda Foundation for the kind grant that made this evening possible.

There's no Gateway next week, so we'll see you on the 4th of November at the Duchy Barn Gardens for a winter BBQ..... why not!!!

The planting session at the Duchy Barn Garden on Saturday has been postponed due to the bad weather forecasted.

This week at Gateway we played Bingo, but..... not any old game of Bingo, we played BIG cash prize Bingo. We played 4 games with members having the opportunity to win a load of sweets, £5, £10 and £20. Well done to everyone who won.

Next week we will be at the Higham Works for a night with the lads of The Lost Wallets. Come on down and don't forget to invite your friends and family because everyone is welcome

The last two posts have given everyone a bit of an insight to what our club is all about.
You can still support the club by sponsoring Seth after his magnificent effort walking 33 miles in 11.5 hrs to raise much needed funds to continue providing great activities for our members. Thank you

Iʼm raising money to support the Gateway leader, Seth , who, on September 26th 2026, will be walking to see how far he can travel from Dusk till Dawn.. Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.

Everyone at Gateway is very proud to present this short video that explains who we are and what we do.

This video was a part of a project that the members worked on over the last few months called 'Life through a Lens', that was funded by the Co-op local community fund.

We feel it has really captured the true meaning of the Higham Ferrers Gateway Club, and that is one of being accepted and belonging - what do you think?

We would like to ask you a favour..... please would you kindly like and share on fb, insta, WhatsApp and all the other social media platform, because we want as many people to see it as possible.

We hope you enjoy it.

This week at Gateway, we had some fun with AI.......

We got every member to think about their hobbies, favourite activities, best holidays and things that make them laugh. We then took their picture, along with their answers and generated a fun and creative picture of them, using the powers of AI. The results were fantastic - have a look.

Next week we have cash prize bingo. Remember, you've gotta be in it to win it - see you there.
