Ghanaian Childrens Trust A Newcastle-based charity to relieve poverty and distress amongst children and young people in Ghana

King Jesus Charity Home is a non-governmental organisation that relies totally on charitable donations to meet all its expenses. Its aims are to provide a secure home and an education for street children, orphans and children from poor families. Some of the children have been orphaned by AIDS, others may have parents who are alcoholic or suffer mental health problems and are therefore unable to ca

The Ghanaian Children's Trust is currently packing our annual shipment of donated clothes, shoes, and football boots for children supported by the King Jesus Charity Home.

Every item we send — some new, mostly pre-loved — comes from the generosity of our amazing supporters. Thank you. ❤️

As we box up this year’s shipment, we are still short of a few essential items:

⚽ Football boots — all sizes
👕 Clothing for children aged 2–12 years
👶 Baby clothes for the Maternity Department at Kumasi South District Hospital — especially items suitable for premature babies

If you — or someone you know — can donate any of these items, we would be incredibly grateful.

📩 Please message us or email: [email protected]

📍 We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne (NE7) and can collect within approximately a 10-mile radius only.

Thank you for helping us make a real difference to children and families who truly need the support. Please feel free to share this post to help us reach more people.

While we’re braving the cold, wet, and windy weather here in Newcastle, our friends at King Jesus Charity Home (KJCH) in Kumasi, Ghana are facing their own challenges - caring for over 100 children and young people every single day.

KJCH provides a loving home, education, and hope for the future. But meeting the children’s basic needs is a constant struggle, and that’s where the Ghanaian Children’s Trust steps in. Your support truly makes a difference.

If you’d like to help us continue providing safety, stability and opportunity for these amazing young people, please get in touch:
