all your breakfast favourites packed into delicious panini bread and toasted until warm and tasty!

We’ll also have our usual hot & cold drink selection, plus plenty of our delicious cakesfor anyone fancying a little treat.

🐻🧺 🥪WHAT A BEAR-ILLIANT AFTERNOON🥪🧺🐻

Today at Darnhill Community Cafe we hosted our very own Teddy Bears’ Picnic, with around 33 children joining us with their favourite cuddly bears! 🧸❤️

And what an afternoon we had!

🎨 Colouring
📖 Story time with one of our favourites "We’re Going on a Bear Hunt"
🎟️ And we even squeezed in a raffle to win a GIANT Teddy Bear! 🧸

A huge THANK YOU to all the adults who joined in with the fun and helped make the afternoon so enjoyable. To all the children you were absolutely fantastic and so incredibly well behaved! 🌟

Of course, days like today simply wouldn't be possible without our amazing volunteers giving up their time to make the magic happen. ❤️

👏 BIG SHOUT OUT TO: Jo, Colin, Stacey, Christine, Shirley, Viv, Tracey, Beth & Gillian, thank you for everything you did today!

It was also lovely to have a visit from Jo from Action Together and Claire from Heywood Uniform Hub. 💕

A very special thank you to Elaine, who popped in during the event and surprised us with a very generous donation. Your kindness really does mean so much to us and our community. ❤️

And finally, a HUGE thank you to The Guinness Partnership for funding today's Teddy Bears’ Picnic and making it possible for us to provide this wonderful afternoon for our local children and families. 🐻🧺🌈

33 children, lots of teddy bears, plenty of giggles and some very happy little faces... we'd call that a pretty successful picnic! 🥰
