Heysham Library staff and Friends are SO excited to continue to support our many local authors at , especially as part of - and we have another FREE event for you all!

We are hosting a talk on the 25th June, 7pm by local well-known author Jenn Ashworth. She is the author of many books and you may remember her feature on Radio 4 in January with the story of "The White Lady of Morecambe Bay" (still available on BBC Sounds!)

This event will be all about her latest book: "The Parallel Path", the story of a long walk across the North, of conversation conducted by letters, and a memoir that explores how artistic and creative friendships can help us encounter illness and grief.

No booking required! All info here:

Did you guess what our new addition is at ?

For everyone who's been missing them at the library, we've made something just for you. You are now able to borrow jigsaws from our library for free, just like our books!

You buy a jigsaw puzzle, finish it... now what?Local keen puzzlers have told us that being able to exchange and try new jigsaws instead of constantly buying them would be a lifesaver, so we've made it happen. Please take good care of anything from our little jigsaw library and enjoy! ๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿฆ€
