A scary thought on this spooky Halloween afternoon...

A special wildlife site in Thurrock is under threat.

Current plans could see over 50% of the Arena Essex site lost to make way for a hyperscale Google data centre. The site is home to hundreds of species and one of the UK's rarest habitats.

Nature needs your voice.

Just hoping the liner survives when all the accumulated soil, pots, roots and piles of leaves are removed. They have absorbed all the water. Hope our gardener doesn't mind doing the major task! πŸ˜‰

Hoping to plant an Acer and perhaps a Hydrangea in the shady pot areas. And place a contemplative bench in the greenery. It's certainly been a challenge keeping plants alive.
