Supporting Fathers of children who have Autism and those with a PDA profile, by providing help support and a place to offload to those that know what your going through We also support those who live in the London boroughs that border Kent and use services provided by Kent. We hold monthly support meetings in Hextable at Beams, (www.wearebeams.org.uk). We also have a private closed Facebook group

for members, and access to many avenues of information using the collective experiences of our members and those professionals that support us. We ask for no funding from anyone and run the group purely at no cost to its members. We have extensive knowledge of most things that affect families of those on the spectrum. There is no such thing as a silly question and no subject is out of bounds at meetings. All meetings are confidential. We hope this will help you when you need it most. Our experiences are there to be shared to help us all.

I've been following this brilliant lady for a while now and I really like the fact checked posts made by her.
In the long history of Fathers club the subjects all revolve around mental health and how much this affects men who struggle with their families work and autism while feeling all to isolated by they distant role in day-to-day family issues.
Put aside any pre conceived ideas that you may have and really give this a read.

International Men's Day: How patriarchy built male loneliness and why dismantling it frees everyone

There will be a support meeting this Friday 28th November 2025 at 7.30pm at We are Beams in Hextable.
This will be the last meeting for this year and owing to family commitments this will be the last fave to face meeting .
While historically these meetings have been both vital and those attending have had many issues to chat about the last few have been low attendance.
I intend from January to still hold meetings as and when the need is there or I have the chance of a guest to offer direct advice best given face to face.
We are Beams have long supported Fathers Club and will continue to by providing their facilities free of charge when needed.
When fathers club first started back in 2001 such meetings provided a much needed link between people and families that could not happen any other way.
Our world have moved on and as such so must we.

For the world of autism and for those who I live with this, this is a big thing.
It's the biggest cause of stress and anxiety and why they mask to deal with a world that doesn't get them.
Makes you think and I'm guilty too.
Some wit will say that this is a man thing too but the central point is how and what we do to make those we meet feel less stressed

Found these folk at an event on Rochester .
As with anything that is fighting the cause of making sure families find information and support then I too support them.
We are now in the middle of charities and organisations struggling and often collapsing because of issues with funding.
Passion overrides this and I found their passion refreshing.
Take a look and see what they can do for you.

This is worth a share in my view as above all this come very much from the viewpoint of a person on the spectrum.
There seems to be a growing trend to place front and centre the persons diagnosis or in some cases potential diagnosis as route cause number one of the events.
So many dangerous events in our history have been fueled or stoked if you like by using labels as a way of serving the cause of their ideology.
These are people first and foremost and autism does not cause anyone to do bad things
