I was delighted Deputy Lieutenant Lucia Bridgeman attended the Chrysalis Club AGM in Hexham representing the Lieutenancy. ‘Supporting families living with dementia’ they hold activities in music, art and pottery facilitating a real sense of achievement helping families feel upbeat about the future. Many congratulations to Chair Rosie Robson, volunteers, members and supporters who celebrated the Club’s King’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2025.

Chrysalis Club were very proud to host Adele Kinsella and the BBC Look North crew, after Adele’s nomination for the BBC Radio Newcastle “Make a Difference “ Award for her creation of “The Blue Book” - a book that puts information about dementia services all in one place - such an important resource for those living with dementia and their families.
