Thanks to everyone that supported us with Santa’s Sleigh this year either walking the streets or donating to the collection pots.
Thanks to the regular helpers from Rotary, George for the transportation and some of the regular helpers Ben, Andrea and Lewis and finally to 36 Hetton-le-Hole Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets for two nights of collecting - especially with some very wet nights

It’s that time of year again and Hetton Rotary Club are making plans to bring Santa to the streets of Hetton Area

The tour will be from Monday 15 December 2025 till Thursday 18 December 2025 because Santa needs to be back in the North Pole to make his final plans with the elves for Christmas Eve.

Please be aware that Rotary Club has very few member now and they are mainly in their seventies and eighties therefore this is only possible with the help from local volunteers, so we thank them very much.

Unfortunately we aren't able to provide full coverage of the area due to restrictions of the sleigh, and we can't provide times for being in certain locations as it depends on the pace of volunteers and sleigh which can be different depending on the number of people in the streets.

Please bear with us we try our hardest and apologies in advance to anyone we disappoint.

Hi All
This is a reminder that Santa’s Sleigh - Rotary Club of Rotary Club of Hetton-Le-Hole will start four nights of touring with Santa Claus.

Please note that Monday night is going ahead but there is a shortage of volunteers to walk with the sleigh so please be patient - they will be there but it could be slow.

Hope everyone enjoys seeing Santa 🎅

The routes for each night can be found in the schedule attached.

We look forward to seeing as many kids as possible during Santa's travels and we hope it brings joy and happiness to families.

Please note this is primarily organised and run by three gentlemen in their 70s & 80s so please be kind.
