The **FREE** IT Clinic by Gideon-IT is on today (15th October) from 2pm to 4pm.

We may not be able to help you with an ancient BBC Model B computer but if you've got a Windows or macOS laptop, a tablet or a phone we can probably help.

Now I'm not saying if Gideon-IT had been around in 2001 then maybe HAL9000 wouldn't have gone loopy and caused all that trouble for those poor astronauts, but what I am saying is since Gideon-IT was set up in 2004 not ONE single HAL9000 computer has misbehaved.

So if your laptop, tablet or phone is looking at you funny then do bring it along to the library's **FREE** IT Clinic this Thursday (15th October) between 2pm and 4pm.

Exciting News - We're opening on a Wednesday!

There will be familiar faces, some new volunteers and the same lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
Service may look a little different on Wednesdays whilst volunteers learn the ropes and gain confidence.
We look forward to seeing you for an extra day of the week.

This is Sally. She's screaming at her laptop....again. Perhaps someone should tell her it doesn't care because it can't hear her. (She's on mute). Her blood pressure may set a new world record.

If your laptop, tablet or phone is driving you mad and is likely to push your blood pressure up to dangerous levels then perhaps you could bring it along to the **FREE** IT Clinic run by Phil from -IT later today?

It's on 2pm to 4pm, today 17th Sept.

This is Brad. Brad has an old, slow, mini-laptop. It's so desperately slow he keeps falling asleep while using it. He desperately needs a replacement but hasn't a clue what to buy.

Perhaps he should bring his laptop to the **FREE** IT Clinic run by Phil from -IT and get some advice on how to speed his laptop up and to look for a possible replacement.

If you're sick of falling asleep waiting for your laptop to do something then bring it along, or just have a nice nap.

This Thursday 17th September (2pm-4pm)

Hammers are brilliant aren't they? Jane likes a good hammer. It's not a repair technique -IT would recommend though.

Jane would be much better off bringing her laptop to the **FREE** IT Clinic that on this afternoon (Thurs 3rd Sept) between 2pm and 4pm.

If your technology is playing up and, no matter how hard you hit it, it still won't work properly then bring it along.
