Sharing again, ahead of the solar eclipse tonight. The skies look clear which is brilliant. Although - please rain afterwards!
As well as the tips in my newsletter you can also use a kitchen colander as a multi-pin hole projector so you'll not only see one eclipse but 30+ (depending on the number of holes)… I believe eclipse glasses have become like loo roll in 2020!
I'll be watching with the family from along the edge of the Dee Estuary and will check in with my half-moon update tomorrow (a day late). Enjoy.
Oh and if you miss the eclipse, and want some other celestial magic, don't fret…the Perseid meteor shower peaks this evening after midnight until 5.30am for any night owls amongst us 🌒🌠☄️✨
An alternative guide to next week's solar eclipse... Featuring Prince, Bonnie Tyler, black bin bags (don't), tiny crescent suns beneath trees and why the New Moon is the only moon capable of producing a solar eclipse. Oh, and all the actual safety advice too. 🌑☀️
