Crossroads Macmillan Volunteer Service Kent & Medway

Crossroads Macmillan Volunteer Service Kent & Medway Volunteer Service in partnership with Macmillan supporting those living with cancer.

With over 10 years' experience in supporting connections between volunteers and those navigating Cancer (and over 40 years' experience as a charity), volunteering with us provides an enormous sense of wellbeing and purpose, along with an increased understanding of those living with cancer and comparable conditions; just giving an hour or more a week to provide companionship, practical help or vita

l transport can make a huge difference. Our volunteer roles are flexible to the wishes and availability of our amazing volunteer base, and offer the opportunity to have a direct, face to face impact on those who may be lonely or struggling to cope with daily tasks while navigating cancer or long-term health conditions.

As many of you will be aware, we sadly have lost our funding and our service is due to end at the end of July 2026. However, we're not giving up hope, we're trying to raise funds to keep our service alive and operational. We want to continue supporting people living with cancer to get to their vital healthcare appointments, have some much-needed companionship at a difficult time and receive support for their gardening.

If you have the means to do so, please consider making a donation to our campaign to help keep the service going and continue supporting people living with cancer across Kent and Medway.

We're determined to keep our volunteer service running in Kent — supporting people with hospital transport, companionship and practical help at home. Please help us continue.
