Sew It Begins is a community sewing club based in Herne Bay, Kent. All abilities welcome.

6:15pm, at the Herne Centre.

All welcome! Bring your machine, and whatever project you’re working on, or if you’re a beginner just some scrap fabric.

£10 for the whole session, including tea and coffee, free parking.

We meet every third Monday of the month.

Tonight is our first sewing session of 2026!!

This is your reminder that today is the day you learn a new skill, try a new technicque, or just have a giggle with some new friends!! 🧵🧵

6:15pm start, 9:15pm finish, free parking, at the Herne Centre, free tea and coffee. £10 for the whole session. No problem if you’ve have to arrive a bit late or leave a bit early 👍🏼👍🏼

Bring your sewing machine, some thread, and a project if you’ve got one. We are always happy to support beginners with finer time projects. It’s important you bring your own machine so you can learn how it works! ☺️☺️

Sew It Begins is a friendly, relaxed, monthly club for sewists of all abilities! Each month we bring our projects and help each other to make whatever we fancy! 🤩🤩

Whether you are a budding dress maker, seasoned quilter, or haven’t got a clue how to thread a machine, all are welcome!! 🌈🌈

Every third Monday of the month, 6:15-9:15pm at the Herne Centre. It’s £10 for the whole session and free tea, coffee and parking! No pre booking needed - just come along with your machine and a project or some spare fabric.

Come along and make that New Year’s Resolution a reality!!
