🚗 CALL OUT FOR A MAMA TO MAMA DRIVER! 🚗

Could you be our volunteer delivery driver from July to September?
Tuesdays 10am - 1pm. Thanet only.

We’d love it if someone in our community out could help us as this involves driving and delivering care packages to families who really need them, as well as collecting vital donations from our donation points and supporting us with recycling. ♻️

This is to help us over the summer months while our amazing delivery volunteer Jo is away.

If you could help us or have any ideas 💡 of who could support us we’d LOVE to hear from you. DM us or drop us an email on [email protected].

Thank you 💕🚗

Transforming bare spaces into homes: can you support us? 🙏🏠❤️

Imagine being suddenly moved into a new home - exciting, right? But what if that home is completely bare? For the families we support, this is their reality. They find themselves in unfurnished accommodation with little to no notice, often leaving them overwhelmed and underprepared.

These families are navigating financial constraints, prioritising essentials, leaving flooring, white goods and furnishings at the bottom of their list. Picture this: a family on blow-up beds, surrounded by bare concrete floors, struggling to find a safe and comfortable environment for their children. This is especially tough for families with little ones who are just learning to crawl or explore, risking tumbles onto hard surfaces. We see this ALL the time. 😔

One mother that we have been supporting is pregnant and with three children, expressed it perfectly - “It was just me, four walls, and the kids.” The daunting task of turning that empty space into a home can feel insurmountable.

That’s where we NEED step in! We take the mental load off these families by organising everything from measuring to fittings & installs - allowing them to focus on the essentials like settling into their new community and enrolling their kids in school.

✨So how can you help?

👉Donate: As a business, your contributions or discounts on items can provide much-needed flooring, beds and furnishings.
👉Volunteer: Join us in making a difference by helping with installations or organising efforts.
👉Spread the Word: Share this post with your business community and help us reach more people and contacts who can lend a hand.

Let’s unite to create comfortable and safe environments for families in need!

🚨Amazing community can you help us? We urgently need hygiene products for babies and mamas!

We have loads of wipes and nappies but hardly any products left - see slide 2. 😔

We really need your support - one of the most effective ways of doing this is organising a product drive with your school, community group or in your place of work - anything that can help us pull together a lot of products to be able to supply families in need with the items that they deserve and give their little ones the best start in life.

As our referrals increase and more families become dependent on us, it’s a challenge to manage the amount of products needed to support this rising demand.

Hygiene should NOT be a privilege and yet hygiene poverty is on the rise - and for many, the ability to stay clean is the first step to regaining confidence and dignity.
Something as simple as shampoo or deodorant can make a huge difference. It’s not just about staying clean - it’s about feeling human.

‼️Any schools, businesses or individuals reading this that can support us, PLEASE get in touch. Thank you 🙏

Celebrating Volunteers Week!

Meet Charleigh, our superstar volunteer! She’s been busy in the warehouse, sorting, stock-taking, and keeping everything organised. Her dedication truly makes a difference! 💪✨

We also want to say a huge thank you to the rest of the volunteer team:

💕To John for checking & rebuilding cots.

💕To Natalie - for checking all prams, sourcing spare parts for prams, and getting them ready to distribute.

💕To Jenny - for sorting all donated clothes for stains, fastening poppers, buttons and sorting into categories ready for care packages.

💕To Jo - who was with us for 2 year and will be back with after the summer - for curating all the care packages ready to be gifted to the families we support.

💕To all our incredible knitters, sewers and quilters who work to tirelessly to create beautiful blankets, booties & hats (& more!) to give to our families. Your support means to much to our charity.

Thank you. Love from Jayne and the Mama to Mama team 💕
