The U11's Tigers hosted Tuffley Rovers Blue in the Cup on Saturday. The squad was Josh, Zak, Gabe, Will, Oscar, Jesse, Tobias, Ralph and skipper/keeper Logan.

Throughout the game the Tigers played some wonderful passing football, creating many chances only to be denied by Tuffley's goalie who put in a player of the match performance.

Some great efforts from Ralph, Gabe, Zak, Tobias, Jesse and Oscar in particular were unlucky not to score. When Tuffley were able to break the Tigers held strong with Josh, Gabe and Will putting in some great tackles. Logan made some good saves but the bounce of the ball went Tuffley's way and they scored from a couple of rebounds.

Player of the match from the parents and opposition went to Zak who showed off his fantastic dribbling and was a danger all game.

Josh was coaches' player for a strong performance at the back and some wonderful passes forward.

This weekend is Cup weekend! 🏆
And with loads of home games, the teams would really value your support in their bid to make it through to the next round.

It's also the FA Play Safe Weekend, and we're backing 'Keep Up the Convo'. This means we're encouraging every coach, parent and player to talk more, listen more and check in more, on the pitch and beyond.

Keep it open. Keep it active. Keep it going.

The U10's played Slimbridge away on Saturday and what a team performance it was! 👏🏻

With no subs available, everyone more than had to play their part and it was a proper team effort from start to finish. They were also unlucky not to come away with a few more goals.

⚽️ Goal scorers:

* Archie — from a corner ⚽️
* Harley — hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️

The result: WIN.

🏆 POTM: Archie M for a tireless performance in midfield, working incredibly hard both on and off the ball for the team. So unlucky not to grab a few goals himself today, thoroughly deserved!

Congratulations to Cooper and Thomas from our 8’s who were awarded Coaches’ Player and Parents’ Player on Saturday.

They played a very strong Gloucester City Girls. It was a close game that could have gone either way until the end when the girls edged the win. However, it was a great experience to play such a competitive team. Well done 👏
