We’ll be setting up our little Zero Waste stall in Hay Cheese Market throughout the festive season with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

We always open at 10am, but if you want to be guaranteed a share of whatever food we have on offer then you need to arrive before 10am to join the queue. Follow us for updates on what’s available each day.

🔍Kids, Eliza needs your help to find her dog, Moss!

If you’re looking for an activity to do with the kids for the last weekend of the holidays (and beyond), then take them on a short walking trail through Hay and along the Bailey River Footpath.

🐾Help Eliza find her little lost dog, using the map to find your way and following the story to learn about the history of Hay. There are little white dogs for you to find along the route to help you.

Walk takes approx 45-60 mins. Starts and ends at , HR3 5AF.

Booklets can be bought for £1 from Hay Tourist Information Bureau at the top of the main car park on Oxford Road.

Throwback Monday… December 2019. Looking through from the Hay Castle Trust grounds during the restoration works, through the medieval arch, to the Hay Cheese Market building. Amazing to see the castle completed now. What a wonderful achievement for all involved, and another great reason to visit our lovely little town 💛

Tomorrow, Friday, 10am in thr Cheese Market Hall

Friday 10am at Hay Cheese Market, we’ll have food available for free. It’s all good food that can’t be sold by Co-op, but which is too good to throw away. Please come and collect it to ensure it doesn’t go to waste.

First come first served, bring your own bags.

We’ll do an update in the morning showing what we have available, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

It’s taken longer than expected, but we’re excited to be able to do our first Zero Waste Hay food collection.

Amazing view of the building on the square from the newly opened Hay Castle viewing platform! So great to see this much loved building with its layers of history beautifully restored and brought to life with its first visitors for years today.
