☀️Pop up play Summer sessions ☀️

Just one week to go until we are back at the glorious for our summer holiday pop up! If you came to our Easter event you know what a treat you are in for as this venue is just perfect!

We’ll have plenty of play set ups, crafts & activities in the grounds and gardens; there is space to explore & run - not to mention the two lovely resident donkeys to meet 💕

There will also be drinks & cakes available to buy. So this is the perfect opportunity to gather your friends, bring family or come along by yourself - you will always get a warm welcome. A morning of outdoor play is the perfect summer activity & we’d love to see you. If you can’t make it, please r word by sharing this post or tagging friends.

We still have tickets in both sessions at the moment. This event is for children up to around 6/7.

🌞 Who is already planning their Summer activities with the little people?

In just 3 weeks time, we’ll be back at the glorious for our Summer pop up play club & we cannot wait.

There will be craft activities, messy play & sensory trays, garden games & lots of the other Blue Elephant play elements that you know and love! Not to mention the stunning Hay barn surroundings to play in & explore. It’s going to be gorgeous! There will also be drinks, cakes & snacks available to buy too.

There are still tickets available in both sessions and cost just £12 per child to include all activities & crafts. (Sibling discount available)

We’ll be running a 9.30am & 1130am play sessions. Please just drop the page a message for any more details or if you’d like book a ticket. We’d absolutely love to see you!

🌞Summer Pop up🌞

Tuesday 29th July at The Haybarn, Dulas

If you’ve been following our stories you will hopefully already know that we are incredibly excited to be back at this Summer holiday for another glorious morning of outdoor play, crafting, community & fun! Our Easter session was an amazing success & such a fabulous opportunity to work along side this gorgeous local business.

Tickets will remain at £12 per child (sibling discount) to include all activities for the 1.5 hour session plus squash & a snack.
These will need to be purchased in advance.
Our sessions are aimed at up to six year olds.

Session times will be:
9.30-11am
11.30-1pm

Hello lovely ones!

I wanted to share with you an exciting new development for me. I’m so grateful for all the support & friendships that have continued since the doors of the cafe closed last Summer & it’s really special catching up with so many of you at pop ups or just out and about & - so I wanted to share this with you too 💙

I’d love to point you in the direction of my new page (on insta) which will be the home of my exciting new travel venture ✈️ Last year, I had planned to grow this amazing opportunity alongside the cafe, allowing me travel more affordably with the boys which was the main driver, and make an additional income through booking travel. Obviously as the year unfolded, I put everything else on hold to focus on trying to navigate as best as I could events with the cafe.

But…it is happening now & I’m excited to share it with you. So, please do find my page and follow along with my journey & adventures in the travel industry..I’ll also be spotlighting local small businesses on the page; days out, walks & trips that I’ve tried & tested in my 14 years of raising children in this beautiful area (there are a few on there already if you need weekend inspiration) 🏰 ⛰️🌳and sharing any great tips or other locations that I see online too. It will hopefully be an additional page of community, travel, fun, friendship & life! It’s always a bit daunting starting a new path, but I’m excited for a different journey, a new industry & fresh focus- & believe if you don’t try you’ll never know!

I will absolutely continue to host lovely Blue Elephant pop up events & sessions so there’s no stopping these (Summer dates coming soon) which I’ll run alongside building my travel business & teaching.. So, exciting times, finding joy in the everyday and future 💫 Thank you as always for being such a lovely, supportive community 💕

Well today shows so beautifully that when local businesses support each other, wonderful things can happen! We had such a fantastic Easter themed first pop up play club at & we were just so happy with how much all our visitors, big & small, loved it too!

How absolutely amazing was it to be playing, exploring & egg hunting at such a truly stunning venue? It was just lovely to have so many families from our community joining us today & we were super grateful that the weather was kind to us and the rain started just as the play session was ending!

Thank you so much to team for welcoming us so warmly & trusting me to run a play session in keeping with the truly amazing venue you have. It was perfect 💕🌸 Thinking caps are already on for some Summer fun!

A big thank you again to all who came & enjoyed the day with us - you played, river paddled, painted, collaged, nest built, egg hunted & met the sweetest resident donkeys! I think this gorgeous selection of photos shows just a little glimpse of what a lovely event we all had.

Good morning!

If you have a ticket booked for tomorrow at the gorgeous Haybarn in Dulas, we are really looking forward to seeing you! Lots of fun things planned for a fab morning.

Session start times are 9.30am & 11.30am. There is a large car park on site, from which you can walk to the gardens. We’ll be ready to welcome you at the start of your event 🌸

We are keeping our fingers firmly crossed for the weather & praying for more sunshine, but please do wear coats & jumpers as this is an outdoor event.
There is a shallow river area to play in so wellies are advisable for your little people.

Don’t forget
•Cash to buy coffee & cake (our pop up favourite of lemon drizzle will be available!)
•You’re welcome to bring a blanket to pop down on the lawn.
•Wellies & coats
• Head out of Ewyas on the main road & keep an eye out for the signs. There is a large parking area on site.

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a lovely weekend & Mother’s Day despite the loss of an hours sleep! 🤣

Tickets are zooming out for our pop up play session at The Haybarn in just two weeks time. With lots of open space, the lovely river beach to paddle in your wellies - plus our usual Blue Elephant gorgeous craft & play set ups it’s going to be a fabulous morning.

And to top it off, you’ll be able to say hello to The Haybarn’s donkeys - Albert & Blossom.

Homemade cakes & drinks will also be available to buy.

🌸Pop up Event at The Haybarn - 15th April🌸

I had such a lovely time this morning in the sunshine planning for our pop up play session, happening in just over two weeks! So excited & the count down is on.. if you haven’t yet got your tickets, don’t delay!

The gorgeous Haybarn is a stunning venue, just down the road from Ewyas Harold & we cannot wait to welcome you there to play in the beautiful gardens. These pictures will give you an idea of how lovely it is & what a fantastic morning is in store.

The 1.5 hour play session will include play set ups, crafting, sensory trays, paints and much more! Along with a little egg themed treasure hunt for your little ones 🐣 There is lots of open space to play in & you can even pop the kiddies in their wellies if you fancy paddling on the little pebble river beach… and weather permitting the beautiful resident donkeys, Albert & Blossom, will also be out for us to say hello to! Fingers crossed for a lovely sunny morning of fun.

The price of this session with all craft and activities included is just £12. There is also a sibling discount available. These session are for 6 years & under. Payment is in advance.

11.30-1pm

You can bring along picnic blankets for the grass if you’d like. We’ll also be selling delicious cakes & refreshments, so bring along cash for this.

🌸Save the date 🌸

We are very happy to share that our next pop up play session will take place on Tuesday 15th April, which is the first week of the Easter holiday, so this will be a perfect morning if you have little people in Reception or Pre-school & are looking for activities.

Even more exciting is that we will be holding this event in the grounds of the incredibly gorgeous Hay Barn in Dulas. Our lovely session will be a Spring & Easter themed, with craft & play activities happening in the beautiful gardens & outdoor covered area. We’ll also have drinks & home made cakes for sale too. So all in all it’s set to be a really happy morning. It would be lovely if you can spread the word, bring your friends & come and join us!

Lots more details to follow but if you’d like to secure your place, please just pop us a message. Perfect for up to 6 year olds.

💕 Friday pop up play club - Friday 21st February 💕

This Friday!

We have limited space in both of these sessions as we cap the numbers but it would be really lovely to have a few more booked on to makes these sessions a bit more viable. If you aren’t able to make it, please share with your friends & other parent groups.

We’ll have lots of play opportunities out, along with play dough, sensory trays, rose petal potion making, a little biscuit to ice - & crafting & painting too (with a heart theme!) We’ll even try & squeeze in a story & few songs if we can too.. ❤️💕 These pop up groups are for 0-6’s.
Payment will be in advance:
0-6months free
£8.50 per child to include all activities & crafts
£3 per extra sibling
