The Henley Youth Festival is a totally individual event and as far as we know there is nothing quite like it anywhere else in the country! HYF supports and promotes the performing and visual arts, has some great team and individual sports events and also nurtures other skills through workshops and competitions. The first Henley Youth Festival took place in 1994 and now well over 1,500 young people

, ranging from under 5’s to 18 year olds, take part each year in about 35 different events and activities.

Congratulations to everyone from Rupert House School who took part in the art competition.

Well done to this talented group of pupils who have all received prizes in this year’s Henley Youth Festival Art Competition!

They smashed it in the 7–11 individual and group categories, creating an incredible range of 2D and 3D designs during their art lessons inspired by the theme “Amazing Animals.”

You can see all the winning entries on display at Henley Library - definitely worth a visit!
