With thanks to our sponsors:
⭐ We are fortunate to have our headline sponsor this year Ward Connections.
Chris Ward and his team have been sponsors and regular players at our charity golf days for over 15 years. As our very first golf day sponsor we are delighted to have his support once again.

⭐ Also, for the second year, TG Gym and Wellness are back to sponsor one of our new interactive holes.

⭐ Doing it for the girls are our second interactive hole sponsor Tim Peers Estate Agents. Now an all female agency they will also be entering a team to take part in the day.

⭐ New for 2026 is the fabulous team at Blanchards Law, the family lawyers putting you first.

That's right, we're back in Bell Boats (well, we will be on Monday afternoon!)

As we head towards one of our favourite events of the year – Henley's Regatta for the Disabled - it's time to get training!

The Regatta for the Disabled offers a fun-filled day on and by the River Thames for those with disabilities and their families/carers. The event is held in The Paddock at Phyllis Court Club and offers accessible activities not always available to people of all ages and abilities.

Why do we love this event so much? Well, too often young adults with disabilities are excluded from social activities. The places their peers go can feel overwhelming or inaccessible without additional support, and the unique barriers that young people with learning disabilities face can make forming friendships particularly challenging.

At the Chiltern Centre, we help young adults overcome those barriers. We focus on what is possible, supporting them to take on new challenges, discover their potential, and live with confidence and joy.

To see the difference our supporters and this event makes to the young adults, why not join us for a lovely day out by the river?

📅 Saturday 12 September
⏰ 10am-4pm
📍 The Paddock, Phyllis Court, Henley on Thames.

More info and tickets available here https://www.regattaforthedisabled.org/

Thank you to The Eyot Centre for the training facilities.

We have a new gazebo, and we're VERY excited for you to see it!

As we've hinted at in previous posts, we have been working on a new logo, and if yo're coming to the Festival of Sunflowers in Henley tomorrow, you'll see it in person.

So why not pop along and say hello to Cheryl, seen here erecting the gazebo for the first time yesterday, and let us know what you think?

She'll be outside the Town Hall from 10am tomorrow, and there's rumours of cakes too...

We hope to officially launch the new brand, and a new website too, in September.

Whatever we receive from Tesco, it will be used for our 'Cook, Create, Connect' initiative, a healthy eating project bringing our young adults with disabilities together to cook, share meals, build confidence and strengthen friendships in a supportive community.

The young adults we support at Chiltern Centre enjoyed completing their challenge to paint 26 rocks in support of .

Some will be placed in favourite spots locally and others will go further afield. We’d love to know when these are discovered, so if you find one, please share a photo on social media tagging us. We’ve included instructions on each rock for you.

Our first rock is out there, placed in one of our favourite locations. Do you recognise where we are?

Good luck, rock hunters, we can’t wait to hear from you!
