📅 Sunday 7 June | Sunday Social at Fulking Village Hall

Our next Sunday Social is on Sunday 7 June, 10am to midday, and this month we've got a little theme: the history of our village hall.

We'd love to spend the morning gathering photos, stories and memories of the hall over the years, to add to the website and contribute to the archive. If you've got an old snap, a clipping, a programme from a long-ago do, or simply a memory you'd like to share, please bring it along.

Not got anything to share? No problem at all. Just come for a cuppa, a slice of cake and a proper catch up with neighbours. All welcome.

Donations on the day go towards the upkeep of the hall.

Preston Nomads & Fulking Village Hall are delighted to announce our Summer headline collaboration!

Join us for a FREE COMMUNITY EVENT on Sunday 5th July 2026 from 12:30pm for an unmissable day of T20 cricket featuring players from Sussex Cricket and Preston Nomads!

Hosted at Preston Nomads Cricket Club, there will a pay-as-you-go BBQ, tea & cake stall and a well stocked bar!

🌱 Seedling Sunday, 3rd May 10am to midday 🌱

This weekend on Sunday 3rd May 10am to midday we’ll be holding our Seedling Sunday in Fulking Village Hall with tea, coffee and cakes provided.

If you have kindly grown seedlings or cuttings, please leave them labelled by the hall door on Friday or Saturday.

Here's what you can enjoy on Sunday;

🌼 Flower seedlings
🥕 Vegetable seedlings
🌿 Herbs or pollinator-friendly plants
☕🍰 Coffee, tea & cakes
👫 Conversation & company

Every plant & refreshment sold will help raise funds for the village hall and make our gardens bloom across the community.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Sunday Social Coffee Morning supporting The Marfan Trust and helped raise over £500 to help the charity continue to do their fantastic work and support for people in need. This event was run by local resident Tricia whose daughter was wonderfully supported by the charity.

Our next Coffee Mornings are 3rd May which is a Seedling Sunday Special - come and buy some seedlings for your flower beds and vegetable patch, with all funds raised helping our village hall arrange more events and activities for the local community.

After this, the dates are 2nd August and 6th September. Hope to see you there!!

Join the first Fulking Village Hall Sunday Social Coffee Morning this Sunday 12th April from 10am to Midday.

There will be tea, coffee, cake and neighbourly conversations whilst we raise funds for The Marfan Trust who supported Lucie who lived in Fulking.

It would be lovely to get a good crowd together, so please come along, catch up with your neighbours and join in.

Our future socials will be 3rd May (a Seedling Sunday Special), 7th June, 2nd August, 6th September and 26th September (Saturday) as part of MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Join our Monthly Social Sundays, serving tea, coffee, cake and neighbourly conversations in our hall from 10am to midday.

• 12th April - raising funds for The Marfan’s Trust in memory of Lucie who lived in Fulking and would have been 40yrs in April.
• 3rd May – a Seedling Sunday Special! Stock up your veg patch and flower beds with locally grown seedlings. Raising funds for our village hall.
• 7th June
• 2nd August
• 6th September
• 26th September (Saturday) - MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Last year we raised over £600. Officially it’s on Friday but weekends tend to be best for socials!

Last year at these events we had up to 40 people, so it was a wonderful gathering and so nice to see people enjoying each other’s company. That’s what our hall is for. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE and join in our Sunday Socials if you can!

🌱 Sow Some Seeds This Weekend for Seedling Sunday! 🌱

Spring is here, and it’s the perfect time to get sowing! This weekend we’re inviting everyone in our local community to plant a few extra flower and vegetable seeds and nurture them into healthy seedlings over the next couple of months.

Why? Because on Sunday 3rd May we’ll be holding our Seedling Sunday in support of Fulking Village Hall — and we’d love to fill the stalls with home-grown seedlings from local gardens.

Here's how you can help:
🌼 Sowing a few extra flower seeds
🥕 Planting some vegetable seedlings
🌿 Growing herbs or pollinator-friendly plants

Towards the end of April we will put out a call for you to bring along any spare seedlings you’ve lovingly grown to donate for the sale. Every plant will help raise funds for the village hall and make our gardens bloom across the community.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, it’s a lovely way to get involved. 🌷

Start sowing this weekend and let’s grow something wonderful together!
