*AUDITIONS - 2 WEEKS TODAY* The auditions for our March 2027 production ‘The Unfriend’ written by the fantastic Steven Moffat (known for Doctor Who and Sherlock) will be held on Sunday 25th October at 2:30pm and Wednesday 28th October at 7pm in the Garden Room.
THE CHARACTERS:
ELSA - American Widow, hard to guess her age, somewhere between 50 and 70, possibly botoxed up to the hilt. She is loud, warm and utterly outrageous.
THE MIDDLE CLASS SUBURBAN FAMILY
PETER - 45 to 55, permanently harassed Dad, happiest when he has something to moan about.
DEBBIE - 40 to 50, bright and sunny working Mum.
ALEX - teenage son, 14+, solemn, idle, everything he says is an announcement.
ROSIE - teenage daughter, 14+, something of a diva, lots of eye rolling about her brother and her life in general.
THE NEIGHBOUR - 60+ retired male, relentlessly amiable, dull, could bore for England.
PC JUNKIN - any age from 20 to late 50s. Male or female. Affable, slow, everything done at an amble. Only appears in 12 pages towards the end of the play but almost steals the show!
Production dates: 11th, 12th and 13th March 2027 at 7.30pm.
