🌧️✨ Not even the rain could dampen this monumental morning! ✨

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful children from Red Roof Centre’s Nursery, who came to watch the raising of our newly‑installed Green Flag — a proud achievement for our beautiful community park! 🌿💚

And the excitement didn’t stop there… the children also became the very first people to sit on our brand‑new bench! 🪑✨

A huge thank you to our amazing park wardens for their dedication, and to the fantastic Greenspace Team at Wakefield Council for their ongoing support in making this happen. 🙌

We hope everyone enjoys the new bench and shares in the pride of our park’s Green Flag status — a true gem in the heart of our community. 🌳💚

Our amazing Park Rangers have been hard at work again — and we’re excited to share that a brand-new bench has been installed in Vale Head Park, Hemsworth! 🎉

Whether you're out for a stroll, enjoying the fresh air, or just need a peaceful spot to relax and take in the views, this new bench is here for you. 💚

Big thanks to our dedicated team for continuing to make our green spaces even more welcoming for everyone. 👏
