This page was created by craft community members, family, friends, and fans who have united to mourn and remember Nikki Cross (Spruced Tags). Nikki’s Wishes has evolved to be an organisation that was formed as a result of the horrifically tragic loss of Nikki Cross. The objectives of Nikki’s Wishes are to move forward promoting her positive attitude to life by continuing to produce products in her
signature style, host fun events for the local community and to support both local causes and national initiatives in Nikki’s memory. The Nikki Cross Memorial Cup & Family Fun Day, is a community event hosted by Nikki’s Wishes, the day consists of a charity football match with celebrity, ex professional and local players, alongside a family fun day with fairground rides, games, refreshments, face painting, glitter tattoos and hair braiding. Funds raised were donated to Child Bereavement UK and Nikki’s Wishes, with the later making further donations to the Homicide Victim Support Service and supplying new toys to a nursery and children’s development centre in Hemel Hempstead. Funds were also used by Nikki’s family to commission and install a Nikki Cross memorial bench overlooking the lake at Verulamium Park in St Albans. THIS YEAR We plan to extend the reach and positive influence of Nikki’s Wishes and proceeds from this year’s event will be split between Child Bereavement UK and Nikki’s Wishes, with a view to the latter once again making donations and pledges to local causes. She had many friends within the community, many of whom have helped in a huge way by supporting this page. Through this devastating time, we aim to create something positive, remembering Nikki and supporting those close to her, especially her two precious babies she left behind.
