The Oaken Heart is where Wisdom and Compassion is realised within and in that, the strength to open the door of your heart to all beings in cultivating the peace of harmony in all the worlds. The Oaken Heart Order was founded on the Winter Solstice 2012 from the Foundation practices that arose from the Chiltern Nemeton Grove since its founding of the Grove in 2000 and by 2010 the Oaken Heart way b
ecame a coherent pathway. The Foundation practices combine Meditation, Celtic inspired Eco-Animistic and Ritual work in a Psycho-spiritual formula to cultivate the bright knowledge in our relations with Nature Spirits, Ancestors and Gods. In a similar way the two currents that seem so opposite to each other, can hold truths. On one side you have an Animistic-Polytheistic Tradition and on the other a Primordial Awareness at the non-dual ground of being, this Perennial Tradition embracing Pantheism. In the Oaken Heart Way we see like the Rubin’s vase just different ways of seeing the web of life. We respect the findings of the Celtic Re-constructionist and Neo-Pagan Druidry, we see the Oaken Heart Way as integrating the two where we can, taking the best from both movements. In many ways we draw deeply from the Well of Gaelic and Brythonic Animisitc-Polytheism of the British Isles. Some members also work with Heathenism as a Celto-Germanic animistic-Polytheistic syncrinism. We are not Celtic Re-constructionists as we are not specifically focused on one hearth culture like Gaelic Polytheism or Brthonic Polytheism. Also we are not Hard Polytheists and more in-tuned with Soft Polytheism as some members draw from Archetypal Psychology, some members see the Gods as personifications of natural forces and others support integrational polytheistic approach. We do not see deities as isolated beings, We view that all beings are interconnected as Inter-beings. Thus although yes deities are distinct personalities on one level as a ground of being as part of a greater whole, some regard this as a form of Pantheistic-Polytheism and other as non- dualistic Primordial Awareness. Therefore we consider ourselves as mostly a Pan-Celtic inspired Neo-Animistic form of Druidry.
