A shoutout to three of our amazing volunteers - John, Sam and Sloan. This afternoon (in the rain!), they filled our new planters full of soil (kindly donated by The Green Waste Company - thanks folks!)

Next up - the planting! We're being helped along the way by the ace team at Helston Climate Action Group and Incredible Edible Helston. Each planter will have a different theme; from herbs for cocktails to plants for pollinators! 🪴

Watch this space... well these pots...

Community Service - a riotous, interactive 60-minute experience from internationally award-winning Cornish artist Seamas Carey - lands at the Old Cattle Market on Saturday 3 October, 7pm.

Grumpy clown "Geoff" has been sent by The Council to manufacture instant community joy. He hates people. You're the only thing that can save him.

South Kerrier Alliance has been nominated for a King's Award for Voluntary Service! It's the highest honour a volunteer group can receive in the UK - the "MBE for volunteering."

Our Chair, Director, Finance Manager and Creative Producer recently attended a ceremony at County Hall to mark the nomination - you can see they were very excited!

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who support everything we do at Coronation Park, the Old Cattle Market and The Basement. We are endlessly grateful.

Thank you 💛
