Yoga is back in Helmsdale!

This Saturday, Laura from The Shanti Tree will be back, kicking off a 7-week block of sessions (no session on 10th October) starting at 9am at The Community Centre hall.

What a great day was had yesterday at the The Helmsdale Village Hub’s 10th Helmsdale Dog Show!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along with or without their four-legged friend.

We are grateful to many people who contributed on the day:

- M&K Sisterly Bakes for the wonderful cafe food which they very kindly donated
- Co-op in Brora for the donation towards the rosettes
- Our judge Justin Telford
- Liz and Cocoa for their fantastic performance
- Sandra Mackenzie for the cake
- Ossie Ross for the poles
- Our volunteers (Karen, Kate, Kelly, Lorna, Marlene, Megs and Stuart)
- All stall holders, including our first visit from KWK9 rescue
- Sandra Tweedie for donations to our table
- Every who donated raffle prizes

With 36 dogs registered we raised just over an incredible £900! We, and all at the Hub, really appreciate all your support.

A very special thanks to Wendy who has been at the helm of the Dog Show over the past 10 years! It wouldn’t be possible without Wendy and the support of Helmsdale Hub members.

Rebecca from RH Florals will be hosting a Christmas Wreath Making class on Saturday 12th December.
We have previously discussed making more of a day of it, although we are conscious this is quite close to Christmas and you may have shopping or parties already planned.
To help us plan the day to meet your needs, please could you take a minute to give feedback on the below link.
Making more of a fun afternoon out if would mean having to have a bigger class, a different venue and putting our memories to the test a bit as Rebecca would have more people to help. Thank you
