Connecting Communities We work together with our communities in the Highlands to embrace the challenges a life presents to our older folk.

In 2012 our geographically challenging rural village had no support for people with dementia or their carers, especially those families who had had a diagnosis for some years: they completely fell through the cracks and desperately needed help. As we developed programmes to support them, we realised that dementia/age friendly support was in fact people friendly support and could be of benefit to a

ll. As a result, our services are now open to the entire community with our Circle of Support programmes addressing vital needs. Our Circle of Support is made up of a series of activities and services that individuals and families within the community can benefit from on an ongoing basis or tap into as and when required:

What could be better than singing with friends?

An excellent performance from Golspie Village Hub members earlier this month. Golspie Hub takes place every Thursday from 11.30am, while singing opportunities can also be found at The Helmsdale Village Hub on Mondays & Fridays from 11am, and Rogart Village Hub every Tuesday from 11.30am!

The Hubs are open to anyone so do pop along or get in touch to find out more.
