Helensburgh Writers' Workshop This group aims to support aspiring writers, exhange ideas, improve techniques and provide encouragement in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The group aims to support aspiring writers, exchanging ideas, improving techniques and providing encouragement. We have a varied program including focused workshops for fiction and non-fiction, talks by famous and local authors, and social events. Chairperson, Eric Thompson, invites you to come along and meet us in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The writers workshop will now take a break for the summer. We will be back again in early Autumn with a new term of writing workshops and exercises.

The Helensburgh Writers will be back this Monday 19th Jan for our Winter/Spring term. Our new term will be full of exciting writing exercises and workshops designed to enhance your writing skills and get friendly feedback. All skill levels and genres welcome. Join us at The Bridge - Helensburgh Parish Church on Monday evenings 7.30-9pm.
