Only a couple of weeks away now! Please pop along for a coffee and cake, a chat and to have your say on the future in Kirkmichael.

Saturday, 17 January 2026 - 10.00 am - 12.30 pm

Join us as we partner up with Cove Park and local jewellery artist Caitlin Hegney for a free fun, hands-on drop-in workshop where you’ll create your own brass plant tags and decorative pieces to brighten up your plants, indoors or out.

Cove Park's free workshop is part of our Kirkmichael Community Development Group Open Day. This is a chance for everyone to:

✔️ See plans for the development for the Kirkmichael play area
📣 Learn about and have your say on proposed projects such as a pump track, skatepark, playpark, men’s shed and community garden.

Whoops wrong date - in last post - sorry about that - cycling event is this Saturday!!

Cycling Event in Kirkmichael - Saturday 29th March 11-3pm - at the football pitch
Cycling Uk are running an event very similar to the one last October to give everyone an experience of cycling. For all ages, for beginners to experienced cyclists , there will be lots of different sessions and Cadence Cycles will be there to help with anything you need fixed on your bike. You don't need to bring a bike so just come along, join the fun and get you and your family cycling. No charge.

Development of the Play park at the Pitch - have your say tomorrow

Hugh O’Neill from Argyll and Bute Council Amenities can meet parents on Tuesday 18th February at 9am at the playground. The Council has some funds allocated for improving the playground. If you are interested in this and have any views on how the funds could best be used please come along

Next week on Thursday, Cycling UK are putting on a free event at the Kirkmichael pitch for kids and adults interested in Cycling. They approached Kirkmichael Community Development Group and we are very happy to support it. Please pass the word on and if you can't make it on the Thursday then you can go to the same event at Hermitage Park on Friday

Sorry this is a bit short notice but the Kirkmichael Community Development Group is meeting tomorrow night (Monday 15th July) at the County Hotel at 7pm. We'll be talking about the planned Gala Day in August so if you have ideas/want to help please come along

Hello, as in previous years, Helensburgh Baptist Church is running a football training/games event for P3 to P7 kids. Its in two weeks time on Wednesday July 10th at the pitch. See poster for details
