We have been made aware that Saltend Chemical Park is performing a full site evacuation exercise this afternoon from 2 - 3pm. The site toxic alarm will sound intermittently during this period; this is the same alarm that is tested every Wednesday at 2pm.

The wind direction is showing south-westerly, so the alarm maybe be heard in Hedon and Preston.
