SHOP IS OPEN

Meal ideas for this week:

Sausages (vegetarian) and roast potato's or mash, carrots, cauliflower all from our shop - serve with gravy and Yorkshire pudding

Burgers (Quorn) with lettuce, tomatoes, use the potato's to make homemade wedges all from our shop - just need burger buns

Homemade wedges:

cut into wedge shape
boil in salted water until just going soft
drain the water
put on baking tray drizzle with oil add salt pepper even some smoked paprika or/and garlic powder
roast for 30-40 mins

SHOP IS OPEN

Well what has happened to the weather?
Good job we have lots of fresh veg in
Why not make a warm and hearty vegetable soup, perhaps a creamy mushroom soup or even a roasted tomato soup and serve a big bowl with some garlic bread for less than £1!

Tomato Soup:
cut tomato's in half
chop up a few onions into quaters
put onto baking tray
add little drizzle of oil, some dried mixed herbs and a bulb of garlic cut in half
season with salt and pepper
roast in oven at 180c for about 30 - 40min
add some veg or chicken stock
even add a touch of cream (also from our shop)
blend and serve

Vegetable Soup:
cut up carrots, cauliflower, onions, potatoes into small chunks
add some butternut squash and sweet potato pieces (also in our shop)
as above put all onto a baking tray
add little drizzle of oil, some dried mixed herbs
season with salt and pepper
roast in oven at 180c for about 30 - 40min
add some veg or chicken stock
even add a touch of cream (also from our shop)
leave chunky or blend to be smooth and serve

Mushroom Soup:
in a pan add a little oil
add chopped onions with some dried mixed herbs
add chopped mushrooms
add chicken or veg stock
season with salt and opepper
blend until smooth
add cream and blend again for extra luxury!

Our Wednesday Delivery has arrived!

Today we have had so much veg delivered, it doesn’t fit in our new veg rack!!!

Celeriac, potatoes, carrots, onions, red cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, parsnips and white cabbage!

Our veg is only 50p a bag (for loose) or 50p for prepackaged carrots, lettuce or tomatoes; or 50p for whole cauliflower or cabbage.
