🌟 A huge thank you and congratulations to Frankie! 🌟

What an incredible achievement! Over the May half term, Frankie challenged himself to complete a marathon in a week and raised over £230 for Fireworks. 💙

We are so grateful for the time, effort, and determination Frankie put into supporting children’s mental health and wellbeing. Every mile completed and every pound raised helps us continue providing support, activities, and opportunities for children across our community.

Thank you, Frankie, for being such an inspiration and for showing how one person can make a real difference. We are incredibly proud of you! 🌈✨

We would also like to thank Frankie’s family and everyone who supported him throughout his challenge, as well as Gorsemoor Primary School for celebrating this fantastic achievement.

Due to low uptake on our Child Carer event, we are opening it up to a second focus group.
If you have a child who is on a reduced school timetable, or finds school overwhelming and cannot attend, you are welcome to join us on the 22nd June 2026.

🎨 🐞 You’re Amazing at St Mary’s 🐞 🎨

Today our KS1 children at St Mary’s started their session by singing You’re Amazing by Fischy Music, celebrating all the things that make each of us special. 💙

The children then spent time thinking about why they are amazing and expressing their ideas through big art. Using creativity and imagination, they drew colourful insects while reflecting on their strengths, talents, and positive qualities. 🌈✨

Activities like these help children build confidence, self esteem, and a positive sense of self in a fun and engaging way.

🌳 Thinking About Change at Gorsemoor Primary School and Nursery 🌳

Today at Gorsemoor, the children explored the topic of change and how it can make us feel. 💙

Through discussion and creative activities, they reflected on the different emotions that can come with new experiences, whether those feelings are excitement, uncertainty, happiness, or worry.

To bring their ideas to life, the children created beautiful fingerprint trees, each one unique and representing growth, change, and new beginnings. ✋🍃✨

At Fireworks, we encourage children to talk about their feelings and develop the confidence to navigate life’s changes in a positive way. 🌈

That’s it! Our marathon in a week is complete! 🥇
We finished today with a walk🚶‍♀️at Hednesford Hills and another at Chasewater.

All things that are good for our wellbeing.

It’s the first day of our marathon in a week. We’ve not started it here because it’s so hot. 🥵
We’re down to a marathon in 6 days now.

🎵 Music and Wellbeing at Cannock Chase High School 🎵

Today at Cannock Chase High School our Fireworks team explored how music can support emotional wellbeing through a creative and reflective session. 💙

🎨 The students designed their own album covers and created personal playlists filled with songs that inspire, comfort, or motivate them.

🎭 We also learnt about how John Langdon Down built a theatre to provide music and performances that supported wellbeing and connection.

🎶 The session finished with listening to Joe Tracini’s song about us all “being the start of something beautiful,” encouraging students to reflect on self worth, hope, and positivity. ✨

It was wonderful to see creativity, conversation, and music come together in such a meaningful way. 🌈
